Press Release: The EntrepreneuHers de CDMX Demo Day Event
Chany Ventures is an ecosystem builder and venture activator for underestimated founders, headquartered in CDMX. Troubled by the exclusionary nature of the venture environment globally, Chany Ventures has set out to develop an inclusive community of entrepreneurs and investors that puts emphasis on mindset and mission over status and venture scale. “We believe that to truly usher in a new wave of innovation, the barrier to entry for the entrepreneurship ecosystem has to be developed with an asset-based approach,” says Chandell Stone, CEO of Chany Ventures. “That is, we have to ask ourselves what do women, low-income, Black, Indigenous, Neurodivergent, Queer, and other historically marginalized groups have to offer that is not currently being recognized by the current systems, and how can we give voice to it.” In the spirit of this ideal, Chany Ventures launched its first official cohort of EntrepreneuHers de CDMX this spring. The cohort of 30 consists of over 90% Latina, Indigenous, and Black FoundHers, with women from all over the Americas, with varying income and education levels coming together to learn the fundamentals of launching a successful company. The 8-week pre-accelerator culminates with a festival-style demo day that Chany Ventures welcomes the community to participate in.
The EntrepreneuHers Demo Day event on June 3rd is an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to pitch their companies to an audience of investors, potential customers, and supporters of women-owned businesses.
The day-long event will start with a market featuring 40+ vendors selling products from women-owned businesses, live performances by female artists, and sets performed by popular CDMX female DJs. The night will culminate with a pitch competition where founders building everything from small businesses to venture-backable start-ups can win up to 100,000 pesos.

EntrepreneuHers de CDMX is designed specifically for women entrepreneurs in the idea or early stage. The program provides mentorship, resources and access to networks that may otherwise be challenging for participants to access. Through the hybrid program, the women build a strong foundation in business development and put together a pitch for attracting new clients, investment and/or partnerships.
